Welcome to the 2026 BOA Summer Camp Jazz Division!

We’re so excited that you’re joining us this summer, and we know you’re going to have an amazing week!

The questions below will help us learn a little more about your musical background and experience so we can make this week the best it can be for you. No matter your experience level, our Jazz Division Faculty is ready to help you grow, learn, and have a great time exploring America’s art form: jazz.

We’d also love to hear you play! Sending us a short recording will help us get to know you better and place you in the best possible musical setting for camp.

Please submit a short audio recording (an exported voice memo from a smart phone is perfectly fine) of yourself playing the following:
  1. A chromatic scale on your instrument, up and down, from your lowest comfortable note to your highest comfortable note.
  2. A short etude, solo, or anything else that shows us your playing and that you feel comfortable sharing. You can choose your own or use one of the etudes provided here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Lp9WoDQouVUOVmdT9dwjnIVXG8GQrk8f?usp=sharing
Thank you! We can’t wait to meet you this summer and make music together.

Please complete this form by June 5, 2026.
