Complete registrations with payment received on or before the designated postmark date of January 31 are eligible for the initial random draw. A complete registration consists of this application, payment, and the signed consent form. After January 31, performance times, if available, will be based on the postmark of application, with the earlier postmark receiving the later performance time. Please verify that you've selected the correct school/state. Many schools share the same name. If your school has variations on its name, try searching for multiple variations. (Example: for John F. Kennedy High School, search for both "Kennedy" and "John F. Kennedy.") Your registration will connect to your existing account in Music for All's system.

Classification is determined by school enrollment in grades 10-12. We will collect official numbers for the 2024-2025 school year in August of 2024.

This is the email address to which all Bands of America Championship participation information will be sent. IMPORTANT: Some school email systems will block or quarantine emails from outside the school district until you approve they are OK to receive. Your email confirmation of event registration will be automatically sent to this Primary Email address upon submission. If you do not receive the confirmation, please check your SPAM folder or contact your school's email administrator.





Assistant Director Information
Assistant Band Directors as defined for Bands of America events are certified teachers who are hired by the school as full-time classroom band directors and are teachers of record for the marching band.

Consent Form

The following consent form must be completed and signed by both the band director and the principal or superintendent for application to be completed:


If accepted for competition, the


band will appear at the Bands of America Event on (dates) chosen on the registration form.  With the signatures below, we indicate that we have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this application and what is required of our band to participate in the event. If selected to advance past the preliminary competition, we will participate, unless we have marked the Input Only classification box. In consideration of being accepted as a participating band, we hereby irrevocably grant to Bands of America (BOA), Music for All, Inc., and their respective agents or designees, the right to use in any media our name, likeness, photographic prints and any reproduction of ourselves, our student performers and others participating with us while attending the Bands of America and Music for All event, for any purpose including promotion, advertising, or otherwise. With the use of these rights, we hereby release and indemnify, on behalf of ourselves and our participants, Music for All, Inc., its officers, members, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, and/or damages which now or in the future may arise from such use. We understand and further agree that our participation is voluntary and that, except when or unless caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Music for All, neither Music for All, Inc., Bands of America nor each of the respective venues and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees shall be nor later become, liable or responsible in any way for any death, injury, damage, delay or irregularity which may occur while participating in the Music for All sponsored event(s) for which we have enrolled. We also agree to provide Music for All with written releases to arrange and perform copyrighted music, visual programs, and/or make special musical arrangements from the owners of those rights. We understand that bands unable to provide such release(s) will not be permitted to perform and are entitled to a refund only pursuant to BOA’s established refund policies. We also certify that the school enrollment (grades 10-12) indicated on this registration form is correct. We understand that, except where Bands of America changes an event date, or location (by more than 150 miles), Participation Cooperative Fees are not transferable from one event to another.

DEADLINE & SCHEDULING: 
Either the deposit option or full amount must be postmarked or submitted by January 31 for a band to be considered for the initial draw for performance times. All entries postmarked after January 31, 2024 will be scheduled by earliest postmark date. A Purchase Order must be fulfilled/paid by check or credit card by January 31 to qualify for the random draw.

All balances must be paid in full by May 15, 2024. Bands that have not paid full fees by May 15, 2024 will forfeit their performance draw. If fees are not paid by May 31, 2024, the application will be canceled without refund. Registrations that are completed after January 31 are still eligible for participation on a first come, first served basis depending on available capacity.

REFUND POLICY: 
  • If you cancel prior to March 31, you will forfeit a $200 per show, non-refundable portion of your amount paid.
  • If you cancel after March 31, but prior to May 15, you will forfeit 50% of the Deposit Option amount per show. 
  • The full registration fee is due by May 15 or your spot in the show is forfeited and no refund issued. 
  • If you cancel for any reason after May 15, all fees paid are forfeited and no refund issued.  
  • All refunds under this policy will be made by December 31, 2024. Monies cannot be "held over" for future years except in the case of event date changes made by Bands of America. Bands with balances due for prior years may not enroll in future BOA events until such balances are paid.
